Baystate Hardware & Accessibility Remodelers:

Your Trusted Partner for Accessible Living!

We aren’t your average hardware store.

Our story began in 2003 when Jason Harris established Baystate Hardware & Accessories, focusing on providing quality hardware supplies and installations. In 2007, Jason’s wife Cindy joined the business, and recognizing a growing need, they expanded to create Baystate Accessibility Remodelers.

Baystate Accessibility Remodelers, A Division of Baystate Hardware & Accessories, Inc.:  Your Trusted Partner for Accessible Living.

Today, Baystate remains a local, family-run business with a passion for helping people of all abilities live safely and independently in their homes.

What Makes Us Unique?

Experience You Can Trust: With over 30 years of combined experience, Jason (a Certified Aging in Place Specialist) and Cindy lead a team of employees, and fully licensed and insured sub-contractors. Jason holds a Construction Supervisor’s License and he is a Home Improvement Contractor registered with the state of Massachusetts. He’s also been trained as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CSL, HIC, CAPS). We stay up-to-date on building codes and ADA guidelines to ensure your project meets all safety standards.

One-Stop Shop for Accessibility: We offer a complete solution – from selecting the right safety and accessibility products to professional installation. We eliminate the hassle of finding separate vendors, saving you time and ensuring a seamless experience.

Building Long-Term Relationships: We prioritize building trust with our customers. A free home assessment allows us to understand your specific needs and wants. We can even collaborate with your healthcare provider, ensuring your modifications align with your medical recommendations.

HMLP Contractor: We are a Home Modification Loan Program (HMLP) Contractor, helping you explore financing options to make accessibility modifications more affordable.
